Essex Hotel Mgmt. Kicks Off Construction on Lake Placid Property

LAKE PLACID, NY—Essex Hotel Management, LLC, started construction here on a multimillion-dollar Hampton Inn & Suites owned by The Hotel at Mirror Lake, LLC.

Essex has been providing development and management oversight, including construction oversight, FF&E procurement and pre-opening management services.

Essex will operate and manage the hotel after it is open.

Located on Mirror Lake, the Adirondack-styled Hampton Inn & Suites will offer 97 rooms and suites, many with balconies overlooking the lake, 1,100 sq. ft. of meeting space and an indoor swimming pool and exercise facility.

The property is expected to open early summer 2013.
